Dun Dun Xiang brings the flavours of Hunan cuisine to Glasgow. While best known for our intensely spicy dishes, we also offer a range of non-spicy options that showcase the rich diversity of Xiang-style cooking. Fresh Northern spices, fragrant chillies, and traditional cooking techniques come together to create truly unforgettable meals.

Our interior is a tribute to the rich cultural soul of Hunan, where every detail tells a story. Warm wooden textures with the glow of traditional lanterns, casting a golden-orange hue that symbolizes luck, joy, and celebration in Chinese culture. Touches of blue bring balance and harmony, and prosperity in Chinese tradition.

Always Fresh, Always Handmade

Our buns and dumplings are made fresh stuffed with tender, juicy meat, vegetables, and a rich, savoury broth that bursts with flavour in every bite.

Our signature noodles are hand-pulled for that dense, springy texture made for the perfect slurp.

DONG BEI
IRON STEW HOT POT

Dong Bei Iron Pot Stew
(Tie Guo Dun 鐵鍋燉) is a traditional Dongbei (Northeastern China) dish served in a large, deep cast-iron pot. It features a mix of meats such as fish, pork, chicken, lamb and ox tail along with potatoes and vegetables, all slowly stewed to create a rich, hearty broth. You can add corn cakes, which are placed along the sides of the pot to steam and soak up the flavourful broth, adding an extra layer of texture and taste to the meal.
